Have you heard about the wool block of the month group that's meeting at Quilters Hollow? If you haven't you should come and check it out. Here's how it all came about.
My name is Mary Lou Heinle and this year I decided that every day I would choose to be happy, joyful and grateful for everything that I have. I decided that I need to get out and walk every day, hoping this would help me feel good.
On my way home from my walk today I realized that I really never payed that much attention to my surroundings. I just kept wishing that I had somewhere beautiful to walk. The next day when I walked out my front door I noticed a brown striped cat walking on the white picket fence in my yard. Hmmm... that's interesting.
The sun was out that day and the neighbor down the street had a wheelbarrow with a bunch of purple and yellow pansies he was planting. Gorgeous! That's when I decided to see how many beautiful things I could find on my ordinary walk around my neighborhood. What a great walk! I knew that I need to capture this memory and share it with you! Join me!
We will meet the last Wednesday of the month from 10-2pm. The patterns are $10.00 each.
You never know what you'll see on your way home!
