Folded Star Hot Pad
In this class you will learn to make to make a square or round Folded Star Hot Pad entirely different than the old fashioned way. This reinvented method is EASY and FUN, no measuring or drawing! The star is built with 4 layers of folded triangles plus batting, making it thick enough to protect a surface from a hot plate. MAKES A GREAT GIFT!
Materials needed: All supplies are available at Quilters Hollow with a class discount.

Quilting ruler - 6”x12” or 8 ½” square or larger
Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies - scissors, snips, seam ripper,
thread, extra needles, etc….
Small portable iron & pad
Spray starch

Super non-stick needle for sewing machine
