Beginning Quilting with 3-yard Quilts

Supplies:
You will need 1 yard each of 3 coordinating fabrics, pattern Checkmate by Donna Robertson (found in 3 yard Quilts for Kids or sold separately).
Quilting Ruler, rotary cutter with new blade, small iron and ironing surface also helpful. One full size iron and ironing board available at shop. All supplies needed are available at Quilters Hollow.
This is a beginner class. You will learn how to cut, iron and piece correctly. This is a good pattern for a large print or small landscape Though this is a kid’s pattern, you don’t have to use kid’s fabric.

Requirements: |
$40. Register with Quilters Hollow in person, phone, or email to reserve your spot. Cell phone to take pictures, ruler for sub cutting strips, scissors, pins, rotary cutter, thread to match fabric, #80 needle, new blade in rotary cuter, sewing machine and ¼” foot. |
