Fussy Cutting and Panel Play for 3-yard quilts
Supplies:
You will need 3 yards of coordinating fabric one with small panels around 8”, need 17. Sock Monkey panel was perfect for this pattern; Porch Rails by Donna Robertson (found in Pretty Darn Quick or sold separately). Ruler 8” x 8” or bigger, rotary cutter with new blade, small iron and ironing surface also helpful. One full size iron and ironing board available at shop. All supplies needed are available at Quilters Hollow.
This is a confidant beginner, intermediate class. You will learn how to cut small panels and how to place them in quilt for best fit.

$50. Register with Quilters Hollow in person, phone, or email to reserve your spot. Cell phone to take pictures, ruler for sub cutting strips, scissors, pins, rotary cutter, thread to match fabric, #80 needle, new blade in rotary cuter, sewing machine and ¼” foot. |
