Techniques to learn:
How to make perfect half square triangles.
How to measure for borders to keep them square.
How to sew strips to keep them straight.
How to add extra inches to make a bigger quilt.
Supplies:
1/4” Seam Marker
Clearly slotted ruler.
Freedom pattern by Donna Roberts (a 3 yard quilt)
*** pre cut everything except borders and binding. Fabric does not have to be patriotic, but you will need a focus, light and dark per pattern directions. 3 yard bundles are a good choice.
24-25“ ruler, rotary cutter with new blade, small iron and ironing surface and rotating mat also helpful. One full size iron and ironing board available at shop. All supplies needed are available at Quilters Hollow.
